During this 1-1.5 hour meeting, we’ll walk around your yard and talk through problem areas, opportunities for improvement, any design questions you have, and we’ll discuss your next steps to make your landscape dreams a reality. This option is great for smaller projects and DIY homeowners. After an initial site visit and conversation about your project goals, I’ll develop a rough concept plan to illustrate circulation through the space, garden bed layout, recommended plant communities, and materials choices. A concept design may include plant and materials imagery, perspective drawings, suggested plant list, and hand-rendered concept plan. You may use that concept plan to select your own plant materials and placement based on my recommendations for a DIY install. If desired, I can source plant material or provide nursery recommendations as well.

If you plan to hire an installation crew to complete your landscape project, I can provide you with construction documents that may include a materials plan, landscape plan, and plant schedule. I will create detailed, scaled drawings in CAD, and help you find the right contractors to make your project come to life. I can provide plant procurement, arrange for delivery or pickup of plant materials, and lay out your plants on-site according to your plans. Once construction begins, I can perform site visits throughout construction to help ensure a successful design implementation.
